đ How Does the Six Nations Work?
Each of the six teams plays the other five nations once during the Championship, producing 15 matches across five rounds.
Home advantage alternates from one Championship to another, meaning each team normally has either two or three home fixtures in a particular year.
Points are awarded according to match results, with bonus points also available. The team finishing top of the Championship table is crowned Six Nations champion.
There are also several additional honours contested during the tournament, including the Grand Slam, Triple Crown and historic rivalry trophies such as the Calcutta Cup.

During a single Championship, supporters can find themselves travelling between London, Dublin, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Paris and Rome.
Each destination offers a very different rugby weekend.
That might mean joining supporters in the pubs of Cardiff, spending a weekend in Dublin, travelling north to Edinburgh, taking the Eurostar to Paris or turning an Italy fixture into a longer stay in Rome.
Our travel and matchday guides are designed to help you plan beyond the ticket itself.
